As an opposite to the Substance Abuse Policy, this Cannabis Use Policy is based on the legal limitations arising from the fact that some of the cannabis use could be medically prescribed to an employee. On the other side many workplaces that are engaged in high-risk activities such as driving, operating heavy machinery, working at heights, working with hazardous materials, and more, must ensure that the employees are not under influence of cannabis while participating in such activities.
Our policy sets a proper balance between the employees’ rights to use cannabis, in particular for medical reasons, and the workplace requirements to ensure employees safety and protection.
